After-school program
Welcome to the SmartCity after-school program!
VS Leopoldinum SmartCity offers our pupils the chance to recieve after-school care
- connected to the school
- within the school
- by a qualified pedagogical team
- taking into account the needs of each child
- and in cooperation with the class teachers.

Our focus areas
The completion of school work is supervised and assisted by a trained teacher:
- Child care and completion of school work
Free time supervised by a qualified pedagogical team
- Guided and free recreation both outdoors and indoors
- Play materials ready and prepared to fit all types of weather
- Activities which are creative and artistic, handwork-oriented, sport-oriented and music-oriented
- Field trips (for example to playgrounds, parks, the local library, museums or the theater).
- Individual promotion of different talents through weekly pedagogically prepared workshops (research & experimentation, school choir, music & theatre, dance, sport, social skills) and promotion of reading skills through the provision of many different books
Daily schedule of the after-school care:
- The arrival of the children in the group rooms after the last hour of the school day
- Lunch (12:00 until 14:00)
- Time to play, relax and for various activities chosen by each individual child.
- Homework hour (on hour occuring between 13:00 and 15:00)
- Snack (15:00 until 16:00)
- Latest possible time to pick-up your child: 17:00
